I'm a San Francisco-based product designer. I recently co-founded 1000memories, a S'10 Y Combinator company with Series A funding from Greylock. 1000memories developed software to preserve the past, most notably the mobile app ShoeBox, and was acquired by Ancestry.com in late 2012.

Before that, I worked at Wieden+Kennedy and helped launch Levi's Go Forth and a Cannes-winning campaign for the movie Coraline.

More than anything, I like facilitating stories, like the Border Film Project, an exhibition by migrants and Minutemen who used disposable cameras to document their lives along the U.S.-Mexico border. And How I Spent My Stimulus, an interactive blog tracking the stories of how Americans spent their economic stimulus checks in 2008.
